​What does this mean and how does it fit into the ministries of our church?

 

LOVE GOD:  The greatest commandment that was given is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul.  With Bible-based teachings and opportunities for personal discipleship, the ministries of our church are committed to helping you develop your relationship with Christ.

LOVE PEOPLE:  Likewise, the second greatest commandment is to love your neighbor. We are here for you! Through the ministries of Casa View, you will have a chance to connect with people and you will quickly realize that we are a church of friendly, compassionate people!

HELP PEOPLE:  When Jesus washed the feet of the disciples in the book of John, He was teaching us how important it is to serve others. John 13:15, He says “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done to you.”  Was Jesus telling the disciples that they should simply start washing each other’s feet?  No. He was showing us how to serve! Each year we offer several ways to give back. R3 Women’s Ministry prepares Thanksgiving baskets each year to give to needy families in the church and community. The young girls in Missionettes do community projects yearly to achieve various badges. The kids' ministry takes in money and donations each year to go to the Assembly of God-owned children’s home, Pleasant Hills. These are just a few examples of how we reach out throughout the year. There is room for more, come and join us!

SHARE GOD: According to Matthew 28:19, personal evangelism (meaning sharing Jesus with others around us) is something that we each have been called to do. Join one of our ministries and become equipped to go out into our community and share the good news of Jesus Christ!
